The Oscars Sure Have a Passion for Fashion!

Anne Hathaway. I love her. She's funny, she's beautiful, she's intriguing. She had 8 different outfits on. All of them ere gorgeous. I personally liked her white chiffon Givency. She looked stunning. Her shoes went perfectly and I thought it was an overall complete look. Her Lavin tux, was not a great look for her, although I loved the sparkly platforms. Very cute. My very personal favorite was indeed, Natalie Portman. Even though she is pregnant, she looked gorgeous. Her rope earrings matched the flowey-ness of her gown. She look truly beautiful. Reese Witherspoon. I honestly love her. She is my idol. Her dress was simple and chic The splash of color at the top was a nice touch! Well I'm off... XOXO

Live. Laugh. Design.

My motto. Every single night, even though I'm not an artist... I fall asleep with a sketch pad and my colored pencils, near my chalkboard, or near my mirror, which I write reminders. Mostly I do small doodles of a dress I thought of in science, or a blouse that came to me when we were talking about clothes in French. What ever it is, it is always inspired by someone I feel close to, like my friends, my bunny, Pepper, or people I see on the street. I know I live in about the farthest thing from the fashion capital. And where I live, people only care about being in shape. So keens(the ugliest shoe ever invented...) are huge. Can you say ick! Because I can, about a thousand times. I have dreams. I have hopes. And the only thing I can do about them right now, is blog to the world about how I love fashion and seeing creations. I'm off... XOXO

Betsey Johnson...

When I hear her name, I twinge. All of her stuff is trying to be pretty and punk, but it does not work out well. For about half off her stuff looks like it was made in the dark. When my friend and I were in California over the weekend, we went to her store. My friend, Izzi, loved how it was so new and fresh. I thought the opposite. Her photo shoot ideas are beyond amazing, but I could not find that spunk in her clothes. It was depressing.  Well I'm off.... XOXO

A New Start, A New Begining, A New Me.

Hey. I'm Kirsten. Your adverage 14 year old. And like most people at this age, I have dreams. I know that no ones probably going to read this, but who cares. I like it. My dream is to work in the fashion world. To be famous. To have fun at where I work. To go to New York Fashion Week. To see the world. To live. And of course I'm thinking, "Wow, that is so cheesey." But who cares. Anywho, back to my likes and hopes. Off the top of my head I can think of everything that I like about Fashion. It started in kindergarden. My brother and I went to a private school. Everything was fun, except we had to wear these nasty uniforms. Everyday I tried to accsesorize everyday, even wearing different colored socks. It was bad. Now, I have my wall lined with best dressed pictures, adds, almost every page of every People Style Watch, cute bags, shoes, well... everything! My favortie designer is Louis Vuitton, second favorite is Ralph Lauren, favorite fashion blogger is The Sartorialist, and my favorite shoe designer is Jimmy Choo. Well I'm off... XOXO
