Maybe?

Maybe some day, some time, I will be in the fashion world. Hopefully. But for now I blog. Almost everyday. But just a moment ago I was online shopping like I do, and I was on the American Apparel website when I spotted a really cute dress. I wish more people would wear them and make them. It's like a treasure hunt. The more you look, the more you find.

The first one, is a lace dress. I think they are beautiful and worthy of wearing anywhere.
The second one: a little black dress. Who doesn't love them. They are my must haves... I have four.
The last one: my brother got me one for my birthday and another for Christmas. I can wear them to school and I can wear them to a fancy dinner.
I'm off to go shopping, XOXO

American Apparel

Oh. My. God. Can you say racy or trashy? Well this store comes with it all. On the website, all of the pictures are of nude girls standing awkwardly there. You can see everything... Personally that is not even sexy. It's weird. It's not cool. Would any of you wear that in public? I wouldn't ever. XOXO

Nicki Minaj..

More like Icki Minaj... For one she can't sing. It sounds like an animal dying almost. I like her when she was in Young Money's "Bed Rock" but nothing else. She is so bothersome. She is one of the many people who just can not pull off colored wigs like Katy Perry or Rihanna. She is not a fashion icon, like some people think she is.. I can't stand that. I'm off... XOXO

Money Love

Don't spend too much on only one look. Forever 21. Always has new looks and new styles and never costs that much. The feel of that store is teen prep? I'm not sure how to describe it because it has so many looks. Even my older brother shops there... But the stuff they sell you can dress up to make it look like it is expensive. Or having one expensive thing in your look and going to places like Plato's Closet (a place to buy and sell clothes). I am really big into recycling clothes because you can save many animals and trees and resources because of it. Also I give away my old clothes to Good Will because it helps families in need. I'm off... XOXO
Looks inexpensive but cute!

Read My Blog!

Every time I come on to share another part of my life, I look and see that I have no comments and probably no readers. In my third post. I had one comment. But still no followers.. I know that some people are reading the blog I write about my life, dreams, and outfits. Things I think are in but I know they are so out. Please read this! I'm off... again. XOXO

I Have a Dream Too.

I've always wanted to work in the fashion world. TO have fun. But also, like every other teenage girl, I've always wanted to become a model. I don't have the body to be one. I'm short (only like 5'3), I'm skinny even though I eat like way too much... I lack boobs and a butt... and I have pimples. Yay. But still I bet everyone out there has wanted this. I keep trying to talk my mother and father into letting me model and getting them to have a photo shoot to get me to do this. I just want to try it! The flashing lights, the poses, the fun ~ everything sounds amazing. Recently two of my friends were recruited to do a beauty pageant in Disney World. I am so jealous. Well I'm off... XOXO

It's Time To Jam!

You know how sometimes you dress the way you feel, or your mood and other times you dress to where your going. But when your going to nerd school in Colorado (the least fashionable place anywhere in the world), but as an eighth grader in the nerd world, heals are frowned upon. I know I know I still wear them... but then I get made fun of. But one way that I get dressed is when in the morning when I'm getting ready for school I blast my ipod and the first song that I listen to sets the mood for the day and thus my outfit is created. Well I'm off... XOXO

Don't Forget To Cuff!

Jeans. They go with everything. Some times they can be plain. A secret to make them amazing and newer fresh style is cuffing them, but NOT making them capris. Roll about an inch and a half up twice, no more. You can pair these with a sexy pair of Oxford heals or vans. This is my new obsession. The good thing is that it is still jeans so it can go to either a sexy look or a casual look for cruising around town. Well I'm off.. XOXO

123 Smile

Why do no models smile? That they always look so angry? That they have to use theirs eyes?  When a model looks mad, it does not make me want to go buy something... It looks like that they did not like the product they are using. Personally that doesn't make me want to buy something. My favorite smiling picture is a Michael Kors photo shoot. The blonde women is smiling and she looks as happy as ever. The picture is on my wall and it is one of my favorites. I want her light blue dress and her white purse and the hottie right next to her. Well I'm off... XOXO

Isaac Mizrahi

Everyone knows his name. He's known anywhere around the world. His photo shoots and adds are incredible, his designs are flawless, but what I like most is his presentation. I have, in my room hanging up against the hot pink walls, is none other than the photographs and articles from his latest fashion show with Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. Isaac Mizrahi's models each had a poodle dyed the same color as the dress. He said he wanted the fabrics to feel poodley. When you see the poodle near the fabric, you get that feeling. Or at least I do. I love his designs, they are new, they are fresh, they are exciting. Well I'm off... XOXO

I Was Made Fun Of.

For the past few weeks I have been looking for, none other than a romper. Yes. A romper. I finally found a tan one with light pink roses and brass buttons on the very top at Tillys. Best thing of my life. Today I wore it, and I got stares down the hallway from people going are you actually wearing that, and I will wear it with pride because I like it and that's all that matters, and this is coming from the place that is least concerned with fashion. Someone please save me! Well I'm off... Csaps tomorrow.. XOXO

The Oscars Sure Have a Passion for Fashion!

Anne Hathaway. I love her. She's funny, she's beautiful, she's intriguing. She had 8 different outfits on. All of them ere gorgeous. I personally liked her white chiffon Givency. She looked stunning. Her shoes went perfectly and I thought it was an overall complete look. Her Lavin tux, was not a great look for her, although I loved the sparkly platforms. Very cute. My very personal favorite was indeed, Natalie Portman. Even though she is pregnant, she looked gorgeous. Her rope earrings matched the flowey-ness of her gown. She look truly beautiful. Reese Witherspoon. I honestly love her. She is my idol. Her dress was simple and chic The splash of color at the top was a nice touch! Well I'm off... XOXO

Live. Laugh. Design.

My motto. Every single night, even though I'm not an artist... I fall asleep with a sketch pad and my colored pencils, near my chalkboard, or near my mirror, which I write reminders. Mostly I do small doodles of a dress I thought of in science, or a blouse that came to me when we were talking about clothes in French. What ever it is, it is always inspired by someone I feel close to, like my friends, my bunny, Pepper, or people I see on the street. I know I live in about the farthest thing from the fashion capital. And where I live, people only care about being in shape. So keens(the ugliest shoe ever invented...) are huge. Can you say ick! Because I can, about a thousand times. I have dreams. I have hopes. And the only thing I can do about them right now, is blog to the world about how I love fashion and seeing creations. I'm off... XOXO

Betsey Johnson...

When I hear her name, I twinge. All of her stuff is trying to be pretty and punk, but it does not work out well. For about half off her stuff looks like it was made in the dark. When my friend and I were in California over the weekend, we went to her store. My friend, Izzi, loved how it was so new and fresh. I thought the opposite. Her photo shoot ideas are beyond amazing, but I could not find that spunk in her clothes. It was depressing.  Well I'm off.... XOXO

A New Start, A New Begining, A New Me.

Hey. I'm Kirsten. Your adverage 14 year old. And like most people at this age, I have dreams. I know that no ones probably going to read this, but who cares. I like it. My dream is to work in the fashion world. To be famous. To have fun at where I work. To go to New York Fashion Week. To see the world. To live. And of course I'm thinking, "Wow, that is so cheesey." But who cares. Anywho, back to my likes and hopes. Off the top of my head I can think of everything that I like about Fashion. It started in kindergarden. My brother and I went to a private school. Everything was fun, except we had to wear these nasty uniforms. Everyday I tried to accsesorize everyday, even wearing different colored socks. It was bad. Now, I have my wall lined with best dressed pictures, adds, almost every page of every People Style Watch, cute bags, shoes, well... everything! My favortie designer is Louis Vuitton, second favorite is Ralph Lauren, favorite fashion blogger is The Sartorialist, and my favorite shoe designer is Jimmy Choo. Well I'm off... XOXO
